Eagle Scouts
What is an Eagle Scout?
An Eagle Scout is the highest rank attainable in the Boy Scouts of America (BSA) and represents a significant achievement that requires dedication, leadership, and service. To earn the Eagle Scout rank, Scouts must progress through multiple rank advancements, earn at least 21 merit badges, demonstrate leadership in their troop, and complete an extensive service project that benefits their community. This project is often referred to as the “Eagle Project” and is led and managed by the Scout as a way to showcase their organizational and leadership skills.
